European Council of Young Farmers

CEJA is a not-for-profit non-governmental organization dedicated to the field of youth and activities that support the implementation of the EU Youth Strategy. CEJA promotes a younger and innovative European farm sector and aims to create good working and living conditions for young people setting up in farming and those who are already young farmers. CEJA’s activities focus on issues concerning access to land, credit and production rights, and strengthening education and training facilities for young people in rural areas. CEJA represents two million young farmers spanning across 24 EU Member States from 32 national member organizations and two associate members. We remain in regular contact with young farmers’ organizations, agricultural institutions and associations, and youth organizations.
